Based on a high quality pure-acrylic binder, YSHIELD shielding paint offers a perfect compromise of excellent attenuation, high water resistance and good ecology.

YSHIELD HSF54 is a carbon based corrosion resistant radio frequency (RF) shielding paint with 99.97% effectiveness (36 dB attenuation).

Grounding is to be completed by a licensed electrician. Please be sure to follow all local laws and standards.


To ensure good ground connection of the shielding paint coat we recommend you use YSHIELD Ground-Connection-Set ES and EB. These sets have been especially designed to guarantee proper grounding of the shielding paint coat. Step by step instructions for the mounting of the ground connection set are included.

One grounding kit is required for each continuous connected surface
  • Metal (aluminum) plate 80 x 80 x 3 mm with special conductive fleece backing
  • Waterproof box plus special glue for underground connections
  • 4 Screws and 4 Dowels / wall plugs @ 6 mm
  • 20 cm grounding cable @ 16 mm² with cable lugs and waterproof shrink tubing

The glue on EB2 is electrically non-conductive; therefore, EB2 should be used under the Yshield shielding paint. With a new and improved glue, the EB2 glue sticks with 10 N/cm adhesion, even on difficult underground surfaces.
